Welcome to 2008... A new year to break all ones goals in.

So open projects: Cottage Slipper Socks, Cozy Blanket (working on for over a month off and on).
New Projects (yet to be started): Scarf for: Boyfriend and Aunt, Go Green Mesh Bag and a Carry Your Entire Life Sling bag.

So I learned about Gauge today... Boy I have been doing all patterns wrong! Well it is good, seeing as though I am self taught! I have been looking at all the nice Patterns on the Lion Brand website. There are some nice crochet patterns for a sexy rug, scarfs, bags, and a yoga bag!

Well back to the Pattern hunt...

Merry Christmas Bloggers!

Well it has been a while since my last post. I am home with my family visiting... I since the last post, I have finished the head scarf. I am not to sure about it for myself so I gave it to my girlfriend she loves it. I have since crochet my self a normal brown and beige headband which is nice and soft. Also last night while Jeff. my boyfriend, was wrapping his presents I worked on my new scarf.

New skill learned - How to change colours while working a line. I am very quite good - not to gloat. It only took my 3 hrs (distracted) to create the warm scarf with the Bernat Chunky and Soft yarn. I will upload pictures later!

Again Merry Chrismahanaquanizka (for those who don't celebrate Christmas).

So I saw a cool Knit pattern for a head scarf... So I worked my awesome google skill and got an idea how to crochet myself one. I started it Friday night around midnight (I am a night person) and I finished it last night at around 1:30pm! I was so happy to finish an actual thing i can use (other than a facecloth)

So it has been crazy snowy here today! I have been out with the shovel twice and it just keeps snowing!

Maybe I will start yet another project... I am good right now I only have one WIP (work in progress) the large blanket!

The Beginning

Well my girlfriends and I went to the One of a Kind Show, and this is how it all begun!

Well somewhere between rows X and T i stopped at a vendor. Where there where beautifully hand sewn items and the lady was sitting and crochetting. I thought it was tres cool. Seeing as though I CANNOT knit for my life. She was making little 4"x4" squares out of Italian Cotton (which by the way is SUPER soft), she said that they would be dish clothes. Well as I continued through the show I could not shake the idea of how much I wanted to leave and go get a hook and some yarn. My girlfriends sister mentioned (because I kept going on and on about Crocheting) I should get the Sitch 'n' Bitch: Happy Hooker book. So when I got home at ohh 10ish I googled "how to crochet" found a few You TUbe videos and I was Hooked (haha get it Hooked). Wow it is late! Well a few days later (Monday) I headed down to the libaray I got Sitch 'n' Bitch: Happy Hooker and Cozy Crochet - which are two great books. Since then ohh almost 2 weeks ago I have managed to crochet up a storm.

Well I have many items and Pics and I will post them later... I must sleep - have to work at 9am
